1. No Spam / Advertising / Self-promote in the forums.
This forum defines spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other websites, or posts with little, or completely unrelated content. Do not spam the forums with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website, business or forums etc.
Spamming also includes sending private messages to a large number of different users.
Your account will be banned permanently and your posts will be deleted.
2. No posts of copyrighted material.
Information copyrighted or owned by any individual or entity other than the person posting should not be posted on the message boards without the consent of the owner.
3. Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images.
Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on this forum. This includes user pictures. Use common sense while posting.
4. Do not cross-post questions.
Please refrain from posting the same question in several topics. There is normally one topic which is most suitable in which to post your question.
5. Do not PM users asking for help.
Do not send private messages to any users asking for help. If you need help, make a new thread in the appropriate forum then the whole community can help and benefit.
6. Remain respectful of other members at all times.
All posts should be courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective.
However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. Do not use explicit, obscene or vulgar language, including racist remarks.
7. Do not discuss any illegal activity.
Any illegal activity, such as torrents and illegal downloads, will not be tolerated, and if appropriate, may be reported to local authority.
8. No use of multiple usernames.
Please register and use only one username for the forum. Posting under multiple user accounts will result in administrative action (ie. banning).
9. No posts of lengthy articles.
Sharing information is allowed, but the forum is not to be used to publish articles. It is an improper use of critical forum resources. We keep the right to edit and/or shorten contributions if deemed necessary.
10. No cryptic posts.
Using cryptic messages to “skirt” the rules is not permitted.
11. No SHOUTING.
Remember, using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS in posts is considered yelling and rude, plus it is difficult to read.
12. Do not post offline personal contact information (ie. your home address, phone numbers etc.) and do not ask for personal information from others.
Use of full names (your first and last name) is a prerequisite but exchange of personal contact information should proceed with care. This is to protect your security and identity.
13. No lengthy signatures.
Limit signatures to 10 lines or less. Moderators will edit and/or remove signatures that are too long.
